Storm Anxiety in Dog's

Dogs behaviors during storms can come with all kinds of reactions.  Some things to look for are:
Excessive vocalization
Drooling
Being destructive
Hiding
Trembling
trauma that is self-inflicted
even incontinence.

If your pet is showing any of the signs and you only notice them one days we have storms, they probable have storm anxiety.  Talk to Dr. Turner about ways to help them get through the storm season.  

It's always a good idea to have a current photo of all of your dogs and cats.  Just incase they escape during a storm.  This could help friends and neighbor help you locate them faster.

Consider putting your pets in a safe, escape-proof room or crate during Stormy situations.
